GPS Systems
VIASAT GeoTechnologies has been involved in GPS software development and hardware integration since 1993.
VIASAT GeoTechnologies software was marketed by a major GPS manufacturer until 1998. In 1998, VIASAT GeoTechnologies decided to introduce its
GPS Lo·K·torTM line of GPS data
acquisition systems. At the end of 2004, VIASAT introduced its new Windows CE mobile-based GPS/GIS systems.
VIASAT GeoTechnologies GPS systems are built around robust data collectors using an integrated GPS OEM board.
VIASAT GeoTechnologies systems are currently the best embedded GPS systems on the market as far as signal tracking under canopy and accuracy are concerned. Used along with our EZSurvTM post-processing software, these systems can provide sub-meter to centimeter accuracy.
